Indication
- Bacterial infections - Respiratory tract infections - Ear infections (Otitis media) - Skin and soft tissue infections - Urinary tract infections
Ingredients
- Cefaclor
Direction
Take orally. For children, the dose is based on weight and severity of infection, typically given two or three times daily as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Rash
- Vaginitis
Precautions
- Allergic reactions to cephalosporins or penicillins
- Renal impairment (dosage adjustment may be needed)
- Pseudomembranous colitis risk
