Indication
- Anaerobic bacterial infections - Protozoal infections (amoebiasis, giardiasis, trichomoniasis) - H. pylori eradication
Ingredients
- Metronidazole
Direction
Take orally as prescribed. Dosage and frequency depend on the infection being treated, usually multiple times daily.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Metallic taste in mouth
- Headache
- Dizziness
Precautions
- Avoid alcohol during and for at least 3 days after treatment
- Use with caution in patients with liver impairment
- May cause neurological effects
