Indication
- Cough relief - Expectorant action - Soothes throat irritation
Ingredients
- Dextromethorphan HBr
- Guaifenesin
- and Menthol
Direction
Take orally. Adults and children 12 years and older usually take 10-15 mL every 4-6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 6 doses in 24 hours.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- Nausea
- Dizziness
- Gastrointestinal upset
- Allergic reactions (rare)
Precautions
- Do not exceed recommended dosage
- Consult doctor if cough persists
- May cause drowsiness
- Avoid with MAO inhibitors
- Not for chronic cough associated with asthma
