Indication
- Bacterial infections (respiratory, urinary, skin) - Acne - Malaria prevention - Sexually transmitted infections
Ingredients
- Doxycycline
Direction
Take orally with plenty of water. Can be taken with food if stomach upset occurs. Usually once or twice daily as prescribed.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Photosensitivity
- Esophageal irritation
Precautions
- Not for pregnant or breastfeeding women
- Not for children under 8 years
- Avoid prolonged sun exposure (photosensitivity)
- Do not take with dairy products
- antacids
- or iron supplements
