Indication
- Bacterial ear infections (otitis externa) - Bacterial nasal infections (rhinitis) - Inflammation associated with ear/nasal infections
Ingredients
- Neomycin
- Polymyxin B
- Dexamethasone
Direction
Administer as drops into the affected ear or nostril. Typically 1-5 drops twice daily, as prescribed by a physician.
Side effects
- Local irritation or stinging
- Allergic reactions
- Potential ototoxicity (rare)
- Superinfection with prolonged use
Precautions
- Perforated eardrum (risk of ototoxicity)
- Hypersensitivity to ingredients
- Viral or fungal infections
- Prolonged use should be avoided
