Indication
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) - Duodenal and gastric ulcers - Zollinger-Ellison syndrome - Erosive esophagitis
Ingredients
- Omeprazole
Direction
Take orally, usually once daily before a meal. Swallow the capsule whole with water.
Side effects
- Headache
- Abdominal pain
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
Precautions
- May mask symptoms of serious underlying conditions
- Long
- term use may cause vitamin B12 deficiency
- Increased risk of bone fracture with prolonged use
- C. difficile associated diarrhea risk
