Indication
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) - Erosive esophagitis - Zollinger-Ellison syndrome - Prevention of NSAID-induced gastric ulcers
Ingredients
- Esomeprazole
Direction
Take orally, usually once daily, at least one hour before a meal.
Side effects
- Headache
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Abdominal pain
Precautions
- May increase risk of bone fractures
- Long
- term use may cause B12 deficiency
- Increased risk of C. difficile infection
- Drug interactions with certain medications
