Indication
- Bacterial respiratory tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Ear infections (otitis media) - Sexually transmitted infections (e.g., chlamydia) - Tonsillitis and pharyngitis
Ingredients
- Azithromycin
Direction
Take orally, usually once daily, with or without food. Follow prescribed dosage and duration, typically for 3-5 days.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Abdominal pain
- Vomiting
- Headache
Precautions
- Allergic reaction to azithromycin or macrolides
- Liver dysfunction
- Kidney impairment
- Risk of QT interval prolongation
- Myasthenia gravis exacerbation
