Indication
- Bacterial respiratory tract infections - Urinary tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Otitis media - Sinusitis
Ingredients
- Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium
Direction
Take orally, preferably with a meal at the start of eating to minimize potential gastrointestinal intolerance. Usually taken twice daily.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Skin rash
- Candidiasis
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to penicillins
- History of liver dysfunction associated with Augmentin
- Severe renal impairment
- Infectious mononucleosis
