Indication
- Bacterial respiratory tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Eradication of H. pylori - Pharyngitis and tonsillitis - Acute otitis media
Ingredients
- Clarithromycin
Direction
Take orally, usually once or twice daily, as prescribed by a physician. Complete the full course of treatment.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea/Vomiting
- Abdominal pain
- Taste disturbance
- Headache
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to macrolides
- Severe liver or kidney impairment
- Risk of QT prolongation
- Significant drug interactions (e.g.
- statins)
