Indication
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) - Erosive esophagitis - Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome - Prevention of NSAID-induced ulcers
Ingredients
- Esomeprazole
Direction
Take orally, usually once daily, at least one hour before a meal.
Side effects
- Headache
- Nausea
- Abdominal pain
- Diarrhea
- Constipation
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to esomeprazole
- Exclude gastric malignancy
- Risk of C. difficile diarrhea
- Long
- term use: bone fracture risk
