Indication
- Hypertension (high blood pressure) - Congestive heart failure - Left ventricular dysfunction post-myocardial infarction
Ingredients
- Carvedilol
Direction
Take orally, generally twice daily with food. Dosage is individualized by a physician.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- Fatigue
- Bradycardia
- Hypotension
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
Precautions
- Severe bradycardia or heart block
- Bronchial asthma or severe COPD
- Cardiogenic shock
- Severe hepatic impairment
- May mask symptoms of hypoglycemia
- Do not discontinue abruptly
