Indication
- Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
Ingredients
- Gliclazide
Direction
Take orally once daily with breakfast. Swallow whole, do not crush or chew.
Side effects
- Hypoglycemia
- Gastrointestinal disturbances (nausea
- diarrhea)
- Rash
- Headache
Precautions
- Risk of hypoglycemia
- especially with missed meals or excessive exercise
- Renal or hepatic impairment
- Not for Type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis
- Alcohol can increase hypoglycemic risk
