Indication
- Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus - Glycemic control
Ingredients
- Metformin Hydrochloride
Direction
Take orally, usually once daily with the evening meal. Swallow whole, do not crush or chew.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Abdominal pain
- Vitamin B12 deficiency
Precautions
- Renal impairment
- Risk of lactic acidosis
- Not for type 1 diabetes
