Indication
- High cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia) - Prevention of cardiovascular events - Dyslipidemia
Ingredients
- Rosuvastatin
Direction
Take orally once daily, with or without food, as prescribed by a physician.
Side effects
- Muscle pain
- Headache
- Nausea
- Abdominal pain
- Weakness
Precautions
- Liver function monitoring required
- Risk of muscle pain (myopathy/rhabdomyolysis)
- Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Avoid concurrent use with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors
