Indication
- Hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol) - Prevention of cardiovascular disease - Reduction of LDL-C and triglycerides
Ingredients
- Atorvastatin
Direction
Take orally once daily, with or without food, preferably in the evening.
Side effects
- Myalgia (muscle pain)
- Headache
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Elevated liver enzymes
Precautions
- Active liver disease
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Muscle pain (myopathy/rhabdomyolysis)
- Avoid grapefruit juice
