Indication
- Chronic gout management - Hyperuricemia prevention - Uric acid kidney stone prevention
Ingredients
- Allopurinol
Direction
Take orally once daily, preferably after a meal. Dosage may vary based on individual needs and kidney function.
Side effects
- Skin rash
- Nausea/Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Elevated liver enzymes
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity reactions (e.g.
- severe skin rash)
- Impaired kidney or liver function
- Not for use during acute gout attacks
- Drug interactions (e.g.
- azathioprine
- mercaptopurine)
