Indication
- Chronic hyperuricemia in gout patients
Ingredients
- Febuxostat
Direction
Take orally, once daily, with or without food. Do not stop treatment during gout flares.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Arthralgia
- Rash
- Liver enzyme elevations
- Gout flares (initial treatment)
Precautions
- Cardiovascular events risk (MI
- stroke)
- Monitor liver function regularly
- Do not initiate during acute gout flare
