Indication
- Bacterial infections - Respiratory tract infections - Urinary tract infections - Gastrointestinal infections - Meningitis
Ingredients
- Ampicillin
Direction
Take orally, preferably on an empty stomach (1 hour before or 2 hours after meals). Dosage and frequency vary based on infection and patient, usually 250-500mg every 6 hours.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea/vomiting
- Rash
Precautions
- Allergy to penicillins or cephalosporins
- Kidney impairment
- Mononucleosis
