Indication
- Pain relief (headache, muscle pain, toothache) - Fever reduction - Inflammation (e.g., arthritis)
Ingredients
- Aspirin (Acetylsalicylic Acid)
Direction
Take orally, swallowed whole. Typically one 500mg tablet every 4-6 hours as needed, with food or a glass of water to minimize stomach upset. Do not exceed 4g in 24 hours.
Side effects
- Nausea
- indigestion
- heartburn
- Minor gastrointestinal bleeding
- Allergic reactions (rash
- itching)
- Tinnitus (ringing in ears) with high doses
Precautions
- Avoid in children and adolescents under 16 due to Reye's syndrome
- Increased risk of bleeding (anticoagulants
- ulcers)
- Gastrointestinal irritation and ulcers
- Asthma exacerbation in sensitive individuals
- Kidney or liver impairment
