Indication
- Bacterial infections - Respiratory tract infections - Urinary tract infections - Skin infections - Sexually transmitted infections - Malaria prophylaxis
Ingredients
- Doxycycline
Direction
Take orally with plenty of water, preferably with food to minimize gastric irritation. Avoid lying down for at least 30 minutes after administration. Usually taken once or twice daily.
Side effects
- Nausea
- vomiting
- diarrhea
- Photosensitivity
- Esophageal irritation
- Dizziness
Precautions
- Avoid in children under 8 years old
- Avoid during pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Photosensitivity (avoid sun exposure)
- May interact with antacids
