Indication
- Anaerobic bacterial infections - Amoebiasis - Giardiasis - Trichomoniasis - Bacterial vaginosis
Ingredients
- Metronidazole
Direction
Take orally with food to reduce stomach upset. Dosage and duration depend on the infection and patient's condition, usually 500mg two or three times daily.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Metallic taste
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Dark urine
Precautions
- Avoid alcohol during treatment and for 3 days after
- History of blood dyscrasias
- Liver impairment
- Central nervous system disorders
