Indication
- Urinary tract infections - Respiratory tract infections - Middle ear infections - Skin infections
Ingredients
- Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim
Direction
Take orally, usually twice daily (every 12 hours) with a full glass of water. May be taken with food or milk to lessen stomach upset.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Rash
- Allergic reactions
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to sulfonamides or trimethoprim
- Severe renal or hepatic impairment
- Folate deficiency
- Infants under 2 months
- Photosensitivity
