Indication
- Acute diarrhea relief - Chronic diarrhea management - Reduction of stool frequency
Ingredients
- Loperamide
Direction
Take orally. Initial dose of 2 tablets (4mg) followed by 1 tablet (2mg) after each loose stool, not exceeding 8-16mg daily, or as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Constipation
- Dizziness
- Nausea
- Abdominal cramps
Precautions
- Do not use in bacterial dysentery
- Avoid in severe constipation
- Use with caution in liver impairment
- Discontinue if condition worsens or no improvement in 48 hours
