Indication
- Dehydration due to diarrhea - Electrolyte imbalance
Ingredients
- Glucose Anhydrous
- Sodium Chloride
- Potassium Chloride
- Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate
Direction
Dissolve the entire contents of the sachet in 1 liter of clean drinking water. Drink slowly over a period as directed by a physician. For infants, administer small sips frequently.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Vomiting (if taken too quickly)
- Hypernatremia (if prepared incorrectly)
Precautions
- Do not mix with other liquids except water
- Use with caution in patients with severe renal impairment
- Not for routine fluid maintenance
