Indication
- Duodenal ulcers - Gastric ulcers - Prevention of stress ulcers
Ingredients
- Sucralfate
Direction
Take orally on an empty stomach. Typically, one 1.2g dose four times daily or two 1.2g doses twice daily, 30-60 minutes before meals.
Side effects
- Constipation
- Nausea
- Dry mouth
Precautions
- Renal impairment (risk of aluminum accumulation)
- Potential drug interactions (take other medications separately)
- Caution in diabetic patients
