Indication
- Dehydration due to diarrhea or vomiting - Electrolyte imbalance - Fluid loss from excessive sweating
Ingredients
- Glucose (Dextrose)
- Sodium Chloride
- Potassium Chloride
- Sodium Citrate
Direction
Dissolve the contents of one 25g sachet in 200-250 ml of clean drinking water. Drink small, frequent sips until rehydrated.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Vomiting (if consumed too quickly)
- Hypernatremia (rare
- with improper use)
Precautions
- Severe dehydration requires medical attention
- Use with caution in kidney impairment
- Monitor blood glucose in diabetic patients
