Indication
- Bronchospasm in asthma and COPD - Exercise-induced bronchospasm - Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) exacerbations
Ingredients
- Salbutamol
Direction
Administer by oral inhalation. Typically 1-2 puffs as needed for symptom relief, up to four times daily.
Side effects
- Tremor
- Headache
- Palpitations
- Muscle cramps
- Tachycardia
Precautions
- Paradoxical bronchospasm
- Cardiovascular effects like tachycardia
- Hypokalemia
- Patients with hyperthyroidism
- diabetes
- or cardiovascular disorders
