Indication
- Skin and soft tissue infections - Bone and joint infections - Respiratory tract infections - Endocarditis - Septicemia
Ingredients
- Cloxacillin
Direction
Take orally, usually 30 minutes to 1 hour before meals. Dosage is typically 250-500mg every 6 hours, as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Skin rash
- Hives
- Liver enzyme elevation
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to penicillins or cephalosporins
- Renal impairment (dose adjustment needed)
- Liver function monitoring
