Indication
- Eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection - Treatment of peptic ulcers associated with H. pylori
Ingredients
- Amoxicillin
- Clarithromycin
- and a Proton Pump Inhibitor
Direction
Administer orally as a multi-drug regimen, typically twice daily for 7 to 14 days, as directed by a physician. Take with or without food as specified for individual components.
Side effects
- Nausea and vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Taste disturbance
- Headache
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to penicillins or macrolides
- Patients with liver or kidney impairment
- Potential drug interactions (e.g.
- with statins
- warfarin)
