Indication
- Prevention of burn wound infections - Treatment of infected burn wounds
Ingredients
- Silver Sulfadiazine
Direction
Apply a thin layer topically to the affected burn area, typically once or twice daily after wound cleaning.
Side effects
- Skin irritation
- Rash
- Pruritus
- Leukopenia
Precautions
- Allergic reactions to sulfonamides
- Glucose
- 6
- phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency
- Avoid in premature infants and neonates
- Renal or hepatic impairment
