Indication
- Dehydration due to diarrhea - Electrolyte imbalance - Replenishment of fluids
Ingredients
- Glucose (Dextrose)
- Sodium Chloride
- Potassium Chloride
- Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate
Direction
Dissolve one 25g sachet in 250ml of clean drinking water and consume orally. Drink small, frequent sips until rehydration is achieved.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Vomiting (if taken too quickly or concentrated)
- Hypernatremia (rare
- with incorrect preparation)
Precautions
- Severe dehydration with shock
- Renal impairment
- Glucose intolerance
