Indication
- Cough suppression - Relief of chest congestion - Expectorant to loosen phlegm
Ingredients
- Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide and Guaifenesin
Direction
Take orally with water. Typically 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours as needed, not exceeding 6 doses in 24 hours.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- Dizziness
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Gastrointestinal discomfort
Precautions
- Do not exceed recommended dose
- Avoid concurrent use with MAO inhibitors
- Caution in patients with chronic cough or asthma
- Consult doctor if cough persists for more than 7 days
