Indication
- Anxiety disorders - Acute alcohol withdrawal syndrome - Muscle spasms - Seizure disorders (adjunctive) - Preoperative sedation
Ingredients
- Diazepam
Direction
Take orally. Dosage and frequency depend on the condition being treated and patient response, usually 2mg to 10mg, 2 to 4 times daily.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- Fatigue
- Muscle weakness
- Ataxia
- Dizziness
- Blurred vision
Precautions
- Risk of dependence and withdrawal
- Respiratory depression risk
- Avoid alcohol and CNS depressants
- May impair ability to drive or operate machinery
- Contraindicated in severe liver insufficiency
