- Bacterial infections - Respiratory tract infections - Urinary tract infections - Skin infections - Sexually transmitted infections - Malaria prophylaxis

Ingredients

Doxycycline

Direction

Take orally with plenty of water. Avoid lying down for at least 30 minutes after taking. Usually 100mg once or twice daily as prescribed.

Side effects

Nausea
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Photosensitivity
Tooth discoloration (in young children)

Precautions

Photosensitivity (avoid prolonged sun exposure)
Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding
Avoid in children under 8 years old (tooth discoloration)
Esophageal irritation risk
