- High cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia) - Prevention of cardiovascular events - Reduce risk of heart attack/stroke
Ingredients
- Atorvastatin
Direction
Take orally once daily, with or without food, as prescribed by a doctor.
Side effects
- Muscle pain
- Headache
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
Precautions
- Liver function monitoring required
- Avoid grapefruit juice consumption
- Contraindicated in pregnancy/breastfeeding
- Muscle pain (myopathy) risk
