- Hypercholesterolemia - Prevention of cardiovascular events - Mixed dyslipidemia
Ingredients
- Atorvastatin
Direction
Take orally, typically once daily. Can be taken with or without food.
Side effects
- Myalgia
- Headache
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
Precautions
- Liver function monitoring required
- Avoid during pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Risk of muscle pain (myopathy/rhabdomyolysis)
