Indication
- Severe hypertriglyceridemia - Primary hypercholesterolemia - Mixed dyslipidemia - Reduce risk of coronary heart disease
Ingredients
- Gemfibrozil
Direction
Take orally, usually twice daily 30 minutes before morning and evening meals.
Side effects
- Abdominal pain
- Dyspepsia
- Nausea
- Myalgia (muscle pain)
Precautions
- Gallbladder disease
- Severe kidney impairment
- Liver dysfunction
- Concomitant statin use
