Indication
- Bacterial respiratory tract infections - Bacterial urinary tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Bone infections - Otitis media
Ingredients
- Cephalexine
Direction
Take orally, usually every 6-12 hours, with or without food. Follow prescriber's instructions for duration.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Abdominal pain
- Rash
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins or penicillins
- Renal impairment requires dose adjustment
- Risk of Clostridioides difficile
- associated diarrhea
