Indication
- Anxiety disorders - Insomnia due to anxiety - Status epilepticus - Pre-anesthetic medication
Ingredients
- Lorazepam
Direction
Take orally. Dosage and frequency depend on the condition and patient response, usually 2-3 times daily for anxiety or once at bedtime for insomnia.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- Dizziness
- Weakness
- Unsteadiness
- Blurred vision
Precautions
- Respiratory depression risk
- CNS depression with other sedatives/alcohol
- Risk of dependence and withdrawal symptoms
- Rebound anxiety possible
