Indication
- Potassium deficiency (Hypokalemia) - Electrolyte imbalance
Ingredients
- Potassium Chloride
Direction
Take orally, usually diluted in water or juice. Administer with or after meals to minimize gastrointestinal irritation.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Abdominal discomfort
Precautions
- Risk of hyperkalemia
- Severe renal impairment
- Adrenal insufficiency
- Concomitant use with potassium
- sparing diuretics
