Indication
- Schizophrenia - Bipolar disorder (manic and depressive episodes) - Major depressive disorder (adjunctive treatment)
Ingredients
- Quetiapine
Direction
Take orally, usually once or twice daily, with or without food. Dosage is individualized based on condition and patient response.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- Dry mouth
- Dizziness
- Constipation
- Weight gain
Precautions
- Risk of metabolic changes (weight gain
- dyslipidemia)
- Orthostatic hypotension
- Sedation and dizziness
- Tardive dyskinesia
- Suicidal thoughts in young adults
