Indication
- Asthma management - Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) - Croup in infants and children
Ingredients
- Budesonide
Direction
Administer via nebulizer. Dosage and frequency depend on the patient's condition and age, typically once or twice daily.
Side effects
- Oral candidiasis
- Cough
- Hoarseness
- Throat irritation
Precautions
- Not for relief of acute bronchospasm
- Risk of oral candidiasis (thrush)
- Monitor for adrenal suppression with prolonged use
