Indication
- Bacterial ear infections (otitis media) - Pharyngitis and tonsillitis - Bronchitis - Urinary tract infections
Ingredients
- Cefixime
Direction
Take orally. Dosage is determined by weight or age, usually administered once or twice daily as prescribed by a doctor.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea/Vomiting
- Abdominal pain
- Skin rash
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins or penicillins
- Renal impairment (dose adjustment may be needed)
- History of gastrointestinal disease
- especially colitis
