Indication
- Edema associated with heart failure - Hypertension - Edema from liver cirrhosis - Edema from kidney disease
Ingredients
- Spironolactone and Furosemide
Direction
Take orally, usually once daily in the morning, or as directed by a physician to manage fluid retention.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- Nausea
- Increased urination
- Fatigue
- Muscle cramps
- Headache
Precautions
- Monitor electrolyte levels (potassium
- sodium)
- Risk of dehydration and hypotension
- Renal impairment caution
- Hepatic impairment caution
- Avoid concurrent use with potassium supplements
