Indication
- Hyperthyroidism - Thyrotoxicosis
Ingredients
- Carbimazole
Direction
Take orally with water, usually once or twice daily. Dosage is adjusted based on thyroid hormone levels.
Side effects
- Nausea and vomiting
- Skin rash and itching
- Headache
- Joint pain
- Hair loss
Precautions
- Monitor blood counts regularly
- Monitor liver function
- Avoid in severe blood disorders
