Indication
- Hypertension (high blood pressure) - Angina pectoris (chest pain) - Chronic heart failure - Cardiac arrhythmias
Ingredients
- Metoprolol
Direction
Take orally, usually once daily, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole, do not crush or chew.
Side effects
- Fatigue
- Dizziness
- Bradycardia
- Hypotension
- Nausea
Precautions
- Severe bradycardia or heart block
- Cardiogenic shock
- Decompensated heart failure
- Bronchial asthma or severe COPD
- Abrupt discontinuation may worsen angina
