Adipin 10 Amlodipine 10mg 10mg

Indication

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and chronic stable angina pectoris. May be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents. Also indicated for vasospastic (Prinzmetal's) angina and prevention of hospitalization due to angina.

Ingredients

• Amlodipine Besylate BP equivalent to Amlodipine 10mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. Usual adult dose: 5mg to 10mg once daily. The dose may be adjusted according to individual patient response. Swallow tablets whole with water. Can be taken with or without food.

Side effects

• Peripheral edema (ankle swelling)
• Dizziness or lightheadedness
• Flushing or feeling of warmth
• Headache
• Fatigue or drowsiness
• Nausea or abdominal pain
• Palpitations (rare)

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with severe aortic stenosis
• Use with caution in patients with heart failure
• May cause hypotension — monitor blood pressure regularly
• Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment (lower starting dose may be needed)
• Consult doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Do not stop medication abruptly without medical advice
• Keep out of reach of children
