Amlo-Denk 5 Amlodipine 5mg 5mg

Indication

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and chronic stable angina pectoris. May be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents. Also indicated for vasospastic (Prinzmetal's) angina.

Ingredients

• Amlodipine 5mg (as Amlodipine Besylate)

Direction

Oral use. Dosage according to physician's advice. Usual starting dose: 5mg once daily. Swallow tablets with water. Can be taken with or without food. Do not exceed prescribed dose. Read instructions for use carefully.

Side effects

• Peripheral edema (ankle swelling)
• Dizziness or lightheadedness
• Flushing or feeling of warmth
• Headache
• Fatigue or drowsiness
• Nausea or abdominal pain
• Palpitations (rare)

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with severe aortic stenosis
• Use with caution in patients with heart failure
• Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment
• May cause hypotension — monitor blood pressure regularly
• Consult doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Do not use after the expiry date
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children
