Amlocor-5 Amlodipine 5mg 5mg

Indication

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and chronic stable angina pectoris. May be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents. Also indicated for vasospastic (Prinzmetal's) angina.

Ingredients

• Amlodipine Besilate B.P. equivalent to Amlodipine base 5mg

Direction

As directed by the Physician. Usual starting dose: 5mg once daily. Swallow tablets with water. Can be taken with or without food. Do not exceed indicated dose. Read the instructions carefully before using.

Side effects

• Peripheral edema (ankle swelling)
• Dizziness or lightheadedness
• Flushing or feeling of warmth
• Headache
• Fatigue or drowsiness
• Nausea or abdominal pain
• Palpitations (rare)

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with severe aortic stenosis
• Use with caution in patients with heart failure
• Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment
• May cause hypotension — monitor blood pressure regularly
• Consult doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Do not exceed indicated dose
• Keep out of reach of children
